the resistance readies to ride

its been a trying 8 years and some. A period when some said that all is over, asked what is the point-why not just cross over.

One waited in determination, in hope, ready to go it alone if necessary. Slowly the fog clears and I see more people joining in the resistance and a big boost to this gathering is undoubtedly, the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

This is not just a walk. It is a commitment to restore sanity, to bind back the torn social fabric, to celebrate our diversity and feel secure in it, to stop this obsession with “one this and one that”, to honour the generations before us — which got us freedom and yet another which helped preserve it. Happy to see so many people come together with such great commitment and desire for an ideology. The battle has been well and truly joined. The Yatra has indeed galvanised every one.
