  1. It is nice to see cars slowing down, mindful of the water collected on roads, when the drivers spot folks walking along the pavements. Folks on the road then raise their hands in acknowledgment.
  2. The famed traffic discipline is crumbling. Folks driving on the wrong side, parking going haywire, road rage (a few days ago two blokes were going at it with iron rods and both of them were driving on wrong side); no one seems to stop at red lights anymore.
  3. People riding pillion with umbrellas in hand — some things remain unchanged.
