morning walk — to the rao’s
On the way
saw a mosque
and a temple
flanking a medical store
the day and night variety
on its counter
a stereo way past it’s prime
was playing a beautiful song
it was Rafi Saheb
I paused for a bit
and joined the gods
to listen to the divine
