politely he refused the umbrella offered. the falling snow did not deter him. Nature and Rahul Gandhi have forged a unique friendship. most comfortable in each other’s company. the speech- heartfelt, his voice cracking at a few places, he carried on, taking us deep into his soul, the violence he has experienced and the heart wrenching hope of “no phone calls”. Those few minutes will go down as the most emotional anyone has addressed his countrymen. What an epic way to set the stage for the next journey.

This journey of 3500+ kms is but just the first step. we must in the words of Dr. King walk on in the days ahead with an audacious faith in the future. We have a long road ahead. So rest those weary soles for a few days, gather strength and get ready for the next journey.
